We offer to our customers a wide spectrum of product options that can been seen in our Gallery or in our Instagram. Each of these options have different requirements in terms of space, mounting tools, installation time, etc. So in this article we will explain how to mount all the products that we offer as standard.
The three main types of products that we offer as standard are:
Below we will explain how to install each of those products and what tools are necessary.
Installing a GLASS neon
The installation of a GLASS sign requires more steps than others as there is no neon frame to hold the glass tubes and electrical transformers togethers so it's part of the installation process to position and hang all the items. The following video shows the installation procedure:
Installing a MOUNTED neon
The MOUNTED neon sign require less steps as glass-only since they have the backplate to hold the neon glass tubes and the electrical transformer into one single piece. So the only work needed is to hang this plate on the wall. The installation procedure can be seen in the following video:
Neon signs that come ENCASED in an acrylic box do not require installation at all. You just need to simply plug it to the power outlet and switch it one.
Usage & neon operation
Neon signs can run for many years and the only thing you need to do is to provide power to the electrical transformer which is connected to the neon glass tubes. In many cases they remain on for their entire lifetime.
As it is composed of just a few simple elements (gas, glass and electrical transformer), it can be also easily maintained. In other words, when it starts to lose brightness at the end of its lifespan, one can simply replace the gas or the electrical transformer so it gets as bright as it was on day one.
